living in vancouver, we see more than our fair share of rain (more like 300 days a year of it!), and i always thought i was a-ok in my anorak, wellies and umbrella, but after i headed out in my trout rainwear, it was obvious that wearing an actual rain coat was something i’d been missing out on.
trout is a rare find: their rain coats are actually stylish and functional! these jackets made by trout are fantastic and hit every mark on a fashionable rain warriors check list: fashion forward, waterproof (not just water resistant like most on the market), and totally quality… and they look like your every day spring trench! each style has a huge hidden hood to keep you (and your hair and makeup) protected with a relaxed easy fit that can be worn rain or shine. did i mention the jackets are made right here in vancouver? i seriously love that.

this time tomorrow – krystal, san francisco
the mint colored jeans with the relaxed fit mint colored knit is so casual but it’s kicked up to a chic look with the bow-detailed pumps. adorable!

girl with curves – tanesha, san francisco
i am simply in LOVE with this look. the deep green and navy pair beautiful, and the belt gives a beautiful hourglass silhouette at the natural waist. this is my fave look of the week!

stylestruck – olivia, vancouver
printed party pants are all the rage this season, but these ones keep it classic with the nautical colours. paired with a simple silk look blouse, it’s such a ladylike, classic look.

miss melissa – melissa, vancouver
what a sweet way to work your neutrals. the shoulder pouf on the blazer and statement necklace give this look just the right amount of edge when paired with the a-line skirt and classic patent pumps.
