living in vancouver, we see more than our fair share of rain (more like 300 days a year of it!), and i always thought i was a-ok in my anorak, wellies and umbrella, but after i headed out in my trout rainwear, it was obvious that wearing an actual rain coat was something i’d been missing out on.
trout is a rare find: their rain coats are actually stylish and functional! these jackets made by trout are fantastic and hit every mark on a fashionable rain warriors check list: fashion forward, waterproof (not just water resistant like most on the market), and totally quality… and they look like your every day spring trench! each style has a huge hidden hood to keep you (and your hair and makeup) protected with a relaxed easy fit that can be worn rain or shine. did i mention the jackets are made right here in vancouver? i seriously love that.
the line was founded by sisters jenn lancefield and ashley mcdonald (how fun would it be to work along side your sis?!) and i had the chance to chat with them about their rainwear focused line.
my iphone is naked and i’ve been browsing around for a stylish iphone case – our iphones have become an accessory and she needs a new case to dress her up! these are my faves on the market right now – i have my eye on one of them in particular, which would you choose?
yes, it’s true, valentine’s day is upon us. whether you love the occasion, or hate it, shoes are always a good idea. if you’re going out for the night with your beau or girlfriends, a saucy shoe is a total must in my book! last year i wore my first pair of louboutins (as most of you may know, my bf gifted these to me a few christmases ago), and i felt beautiful and special. even if you have no plans, why not buy the most important person in your life (YOU!) a gorge new pair of heels for valentine’s day?
i was recently sent a sample of this really interesting product called “sole goddess“. it’s a balm that prevents blisters and hotspots from those (oftentimes) uncomfortable shoes. the reviews are phenomenal; i have yet to try it, but i’ll keep you posted!
