sometimes, there’s just too much on your plate, and when that happens, you need to realize that you can do it all, but you can’t do it all well. what i’m doing this week is prioritizing getting my new beauty business up and running (this includes a photoshoot with framework magazine’s june issue profiling me and the new business!)

so, not to humble brag, but i made these babies myself! no, i’m not a graphic designer, but with a little patience, and the help of google, i was able to design them for print. it’s pretty easy once you get a few fundamentals down. this is by no means a diy business card post, because i’m not a professional, but tinkered around in adobe photoshop elements to get a design i loved.

i missed you! it’s so nice being back to the blog. i was away for 10 days visiting family and friends in edmonton (my hometown). of course, i arrived on the second day of spring to a blizzard… but that didn’t define the trip at all. it was so much fun taking a break from the computer and catching up with some of my favourite people. i also made a purchase i’ve been coveting for well over a year…
