oh, the joys of fall. i, like so many of us girls, live for it. the crispness in the air, the need for the duvet again, hot, spicy drinks, and cozy knit sweaters. i am such a cliché, i get it. oh, and of course the new shoes. ok, double cliché.
this month has been a whirlwind, and i have never been busier. every day, all day is jam packed with to-do’s, must-do’s and a few want-to-do’s which is overwhelming but so, so fulfilling. thank you so much for standing by while i figure all of this out. i can already feel that things are streamlining as i wrap my head around what being a marketing/digital media/pr consultant… and working for yourself, is all about. my mom has been visiting for the past week and is astounded with my schedule and highly organized life (ha!). my fears? blurring the line between iphone overuse and manners, not eating veggies (because they take to damn long to cut up), ava gaining 5 lbs because there are some days when a walk just can’t happen. other than that, i’m in a really great place.
i hope your week is fantastic my friends!
(p.s: i’ve been listening to this album non-stop all month. she is so bloody amazing, can’t get enough. click right to track 4… you’re welcome for your new personal theme song)
selfie! hiding the curling iron burn i suffered in the name of these curls. i rallied.
one of the joys in my life is playing ball with my little nug. that. face. slays. me.
a special birthday card for my friend jen – totally photograph worthy!
new shoes from zara, and of course, my slouchy pants which have been in heavy (heavy) rotation.
you would think that the raspberries were my touch, but you would be wrong. my bf is kinda awesome.
my two darlings right out of bed – the robe doubles as a doggy baby bjorn, apparently… too much cuteness.
a few things that make this fall loving girl happy: leopard, red lippy, leather and tortoise.
getting stacked with a few sparkly bangles at the beautybar jewelry sale.
many of my weekdays are spent on my laptop, and with a coffee. this particular monday morning, i was meeting with a marketing client.
prepping my kit for a bridal makeup appointment. i absolutely LOVE working with brides because being a part of their big day is so special! (happy to tell you that when i was finished the bride said that “she had never felt or looked more beautiful”. those words mean the world to me and are exactly why, 10 years ago, i chose to fork over the big dolla bills for makeup school)
