can we please talk social media? i, like most of you, am hopelessly addicted, and in love. twitter, instagram, and (lastly), facebook are all on heavy rotation in my world. while it can defo cause procrastination, it’s also a great way to start conversations, learn new things, and meet new people. i get bummed when i take the time to comment on something or tweet to someone and it is (seemingly) ignored, therefore i make an effort to respond to tweets and comments on instagram because it’s important to me to connect to readers. what’s the point if you aren’t using social media to connect, right?!
last night i signed up for the newest social media app on the block, vine. it’s a video sharing app made by twitter that basically lets you create custom gif’s. here’s the lowdown if you want to learn more, but it should be as addicting, if not more so, than instagram. if you’re into it, follow me by searching “erin”.
have a fantastic week, and check back on wednesday because i have something new in store. x
i made lemon meringue pie for sunday dinner at the in-laws – the trick to fluffy meringue is some cream of tartar and a bit of sugar | getting through a really long afternoon… gelato certainly helps (i always seem to choose chocolate!) | a perfect beige nude, essie’s adore-a-ball | playing with my kitchen aid mixer to make pancakes (after 10 years of coveting it, i received it for christmas from my mother in law!) | homemade oatmeal cookies made by my sweet bf – here’s the recipe but just note that he subbed chia seed for the wheatgerm and skipped the chocolate
