Looking to add some last minute sparkle to your New Year’s Eve outfit? Today our beauty contributor Erin shares a quick and easy glitter tip manicure!
MATERIALS
- Nude nail polish
- Glitter nail polish
- Top coat nail polish
- Nail file, clippers, soap & water
DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Wash hands and nails with soap and water to ensure polish sticks.
Step 2: Clip and file nails.
Step 3: Apply two coats of your favorite light pink/nude nail polish — we love “Adore-A-Ball” by Essie. Let dry 15-20 minutes.
Step 4: Lightly dab the glitter polish to the tips of your nails and gently move it around until it’s in place and covering the tip of your nail. Our favorite is “Shake Your Groove Thing” by Deborah Lippman.
Step 5: After the glitter layer of the manicure has dried, apply a top coat to seal. “No Chips Ahead” by Essie is our go-to.
